Service & Leadership
Fostering an inclusive AI ecosystem by building bridges between academia, industry, and the community.
Signature Initiatives
Co-developed and delivered a professional development series on AI governance for Canadian industry leaders (CEOs, CFOs, senior engineers), translating complex AI principles into actionable strategies for responsible innovation.
A specialized AI governance curriculum tailored for energy sector professionals, addressing unique challenges in AI adoption, safety, and ethical deployment within critical infrastructure.
Designed and delivered a two-day ML boot camp for over 120 high-school girls and non-binary youth. This initiative has now expanded into the AI Ambassador Program, empowering student leaders to deliver these workshops in local schools.
A 30-minute interactive learning experience introducing Indigenous approaches to AI through traditional pedagogy—storytelling, Two-Eyed Seeing data visualization, and community reflection circles.
Designed and delivered a comprehensive 14-week professional-development course that supports Ontario college program coordinators in mastering the PEQAB consent-renewal process. The course covers regulatory frameworks, degree-level expectations, learning outcomes mapping, evidence collection, self-study report preparation, and site-visit readiness. This initiative is an independent educational resource I developed to help coordinators build confidence, consistency, and quality in degree-renewal processes across the province.

As Program Coordinator for AI programs, I oversee the end-to-end academic lifecycle—from curriculum design to student success—ensuring our programs remain at the cutting edge of the AI industry.
Spearheaded major curriculum overhauls for the Data Analytics and Honours Bachelor of AI programs. Authored comprehensive renewal applications to ensure alignment with provincial standards and the fast-changing AI landscape, integrating new content on MLOps, cloud data pipelines, and AI ethics.
Actively manage program alignment with industry needs by fostering partnerships, serving on advisory committees, and integrating real-world case studies to ensure graduates are job-ready.
Lead strategic initiatives focused on student enrollment, academic advising, and retention, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment to foster student success from admission to graduation.
